After completing her nursing training, Ana worked as a general nurse for a few years in Kingston Hospital in their private wing. she became a senior nurse in 2010 and worked since then for BMI healthcare company which is one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK.
Ana completed a course in ‘Infection Control & Transmissible Infections’. she was accredited the title of ‘Infection Prevention & Control lead nurse’ by BMI Healthcare and since then worked as an Infection Control Lead Nurse. At Present she works for BMI Healthcare and Ascot Rehabilitation Centre.
Ana’s priorities are to prevent and/or minimise any infection that may put clients and staff at risk, Therefore she looks at Risk Assessments and participate in the risk management process of the company. she ensures, if any client is admitted with an infection or develops an infection under our care this is dealt with as soon as possible with the help of strategies put in place to prevent & control the spread of infection. She provides a series of Policy Development to follow guidelines and Educational training to ensure all staff is aware of the latest up-to-date information regarding Infection. This helps ensure that the environment is maintained clean and free from any possible harmful micro-organisms. She also provides Audits to ensure Infection Prevention Practices are maintained and up-kept.

I have joined Ascot Rehab in 2021 as a Nursing Assistant. This involves caring for all aspects of patients’ daily needs. I am also assisting therapists in their physiotherapy and occupational therapy sessions.
Healthcare Assistant
khadija has joined Ascot as a Healthcare Assistant with two years plus experience working in an outpatient clinic, carrying clinical tasks, assisting with minor procedures and phlebotomy. Khadija has also a previous experience as a Care assistant, assisting patients with daily tasks, personal care and food preparation.
